American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior Star to Design a Custom SKIL Chopper
MT. PROSPECT, Ill., April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Rev up your Worm Drive SKILSAWs® because SKIL Tools is celebrating the 75th Anniversary of “The Saw That Built America” by partnering with Paul Teutul Jr., star of Discovery Channel’s reality television program American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior.
(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20120202/CG46750LOGO)
It all started in 1937 with the original SKILSAW Model 77. Designed for tradesmen who earned a living by using it to construct bridges, roads and buildings, the saw was engineered to be tough and dependable. As the Model 77 evolved, it became the industry standard and cornerstone of SKIL’s reputation for quality and dependability. For the past 75 years, SKIL has continued its passion of being committed to innovation, performance and the American builder. “The Saw That Built America” remains an icon of ingenuity and leadership and can still be seen on practically every jobsite across the country.
To commemorate this milestone anniversary, Paul Teutul Jr. of Paul Jr. Designs will build a custom-designed chopper motorcycle. Its unveiling will be at an exclusive event in Las Vegas on May 1, which coincides with the National Hardware Show week. In addition to the original custom chopper, Paul Jr. Designs will design and build a second SKILSAW motorcycle to be sold through eBay Motors during a 10-day auction in the fall. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to The Home Depot Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that every veteran has a safe place to call home.
Rick Petko is getting married
Rick Petko is getting married and his goal is to have the Teutual’s sit together at the wedding. Ricky’s goal throughout the American Chopper series was to get Senior and Junior to get along. Stay tuned to see if he can work that out.

November 28, 2011
Lamar Commissions Custom Motorcycle for March of Dimes
Lamar Construction Company has been a proud supporter of March of Dimes (www.marchofdimes.com) for several years, particularly through March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies walk.
This year, Lamar Construction has decided to continue this support in a new and exciting way.
Lamar Construction has commissioned Paul Jr. Designs to build a custom theme-bike for March of Dimes. The construction of this bike, filming of which began November 14, will be featured on Discovery Channel’s hit show American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior.
Additional footage for the “R & D” portion of the episode will be taken in the Grand Rapids area in late November/early December at a site yet to be determined. The revealing of the March of Dimes bike will take place at a West Michigan location yet to be determined, and is scheduled for sometime in early 2012.
The two episodes of American Chopper featuring the March of Dimes bike build and reveal will air on the Discovery Channel in the late first quarter or early second quarter of 2012.
Beginning the date of the televised reveal of the bike and through early Fall 2012 viewers will have an opportunity to win the March of Dimes bike via an on-line raffle, all proceeds of which going directly to the March of Dimes. The raffle winner will be announced in mid to late Fall 2012 at a venue yet to be determined. Additional details of the raffle will be forthcoming as the date approaches.
The research funded and provided by March of Dimes is vital to the health of mothers and babies throughout the country, and has directly affected the lives of several members of the Lamar Construction team as well. Lamar Construction Company is dedicated to March of Dimes’ cause, and is proud and blessed to be able to contribute to this cause in such an exciting way.

Jesse James Is BACK for LIVE Chopper Battle!
Having produced the fan site for Monster Garage as well as American Chopper in their earliest days, it is with UNBRIDLED excitement that I post the following press release:
DISCOVERY CHANNEL FAN FAVORITE JESSE JAMES RETURNS TO BATTLE SENIOR AND JUNIOR IN THE ULTIMATE BIKE COMPETITION
Fasten your seatbelt. Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr. are about to go head to head – or helmet to helmet – as they put their personal issues aside and get down to business this Dec. 5 and 6 at 9:00pm ET/PT.
But it’s not just the Teutuls who will be putting their skills and their ego on the line. Jesse James, who made his television debut on the Discovery Channel, will return to the network for the first time since 2006 to take on the Teutuls. James will be joining father and son in his attempt to prove that one doesn’t need the surname Teutul to win the title of master bike builder. After all, James’ Discovery documentary, Motorcycle Mania, paved the road for the motorcycle revolution that hit television in the years that followed.
Jesse James and the Teutuls previously shared time on the network with their respective shows, but now these combustible characters will share the same stage for the first time. The fierce competition and live results special will test the breaking points of the Teutuls family feud and Jesse James’ notoriously hot temper.
Coming on the heels of American Chopper’s return to Discovery Channel last year, the veteran show will take its success to new levels with its first LIVE event. In this two-night special, Chopper fans will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite bike after seeing the three finished products during our regularly scheduled American Chopper on Monday, Dec. 5, at 9pm ET/PT. The following evening, Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 9:00pm ET/PT, American Chopper Live will air straight from the strip in downtown Las Vegas, NV. What better place than Sin City to crown the winner of this unique bike building competition?
Will Senior’s years of experience give him the edge? Will Junior’s younger outlook lead him to victory? Or will wild card Jesse James wipe the floor with the two of them?
I know, right? Watch the promo and stay tuned, because I’ll be publishing — among other content on the Chopper fan site — interviews with Junior and Senior about the build-off as part of the Chopper Aftershow.
And if you’re hankering for a trip down memory lane, check out these through-the-years photos of Mikey, Junior and Senior.

American Chopper October 17th Episode
10/17 Episode of American Chopper continues to fill the air waves with family drama.
In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Dekalb commissions a bike from PJD to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to benefit the American Red Cross. Meanwhile, OCC begins a build for Cell Buckle, a company that builds cell-phone holders for vehicles, to be unveiled at Sturgis. But when a dissatisfied Senior decides they must start from scratch, an offended Jason does the unthinkable.
OCC Paul Sr’s Motive for Talking to Jr. and Mikey
On the 10/3 American Chopper’s episode, a conversation with Senior takes place where he admits he wants all of the negativity to be pushed aside and he wants to have a positive relationship with his sons.
In the same breath Paul Sr. mentions moving forward he doesn’t want to have a negative impact on his businesses, specifically mentioning his restaurants.
I think Senior is missing the point and doesn’t realize the months / years of talking bad about his sons and the affect it had / has on them. Jr. and Mikey also have suspicions with Sr. All if a sudden wanting to make up and have a relationship. Mikey is skeptical of his Father wanting to have a positive relationship and has a strong feeling that Sr’s intentions are not in the best interest of his kids, but rather is trying to “patch” things up to benefit OCC, his business.
If a relationship is started back up, Sr. will have to understand his sons will want to discuss what was said in the past and question Sr’s motive / true feelings for his kids!
