Rumors linger as future episodes of American Choppers hints towards Rick Petko leaving OCC?
Is Rick going to continue working his own business, start working for Paul Jr. Designs, or is this all hype for TV?
To be continued…
Where the heck did Will Castro and crew disappear to? I watched Uniqe Autosports faithfully, checking out what Will and crew was up to, what next ride they were customizing.
Checking out their press section via their website, it appears they have not been up to too much. Unique’s feature section has some new rides I have not noticed before, so they may continue to be busy.
Unique Autosports can be found on Sunspot (Fox Sports Florida). Here is the following TV listing:

He was one of the originals from the “American Choppers” TV show. But then he was gone. Well, fans of the new show “American Choppers: Senior vs. Junior” can once again see Nub, pinstriper and airbrush artist, his awesome work and that familiar little grin. Nub is doing some painting for Paul Teutul Jr. at Paul Jr. Designs. Nub’s airbrushing is amazing, his pinstriping is phenomenal, and he is seen by millions on TV every week; but one thing’s for sure: Nub is keeping things real.
“I’m not committed to any one person,” Nub said. “I’m continuing to do what I love to do, and that’s paint.” Along with painting for Paul Jr., he creates works of art on drum sets for Pearl and on guitars for Martin Guitars.
Talking at his shop, Nub made it clear that he’s not fazed by the TV hype. “I’m really busy here in the shop,” Nub said as he dabbed a pinstriping brush in some paint. “I get so many phone calls of people who just want to talk to me. If I answered all those calls I wouldn’t get any work done, so I have to have my calls screened.
Facebook has turned out to be the best way for me to keep in contact with fans, I can go on at my leisure, and answer people that ask me questions. Some people can’t believe I answered them.”
Expanding into other areas of the art world is something that Nub also has in mind to do. “I would like to get into sculpting,” Nub said with that grin of his. “Or maybe even furniture.”
Nub currently has bare walls in his shop because most of his tins are hanging in Darkside Records & Gallery in Poughkeepsie (www.darksiderecordsandgallery.com) for an exhibit he’s doing, along with fellow artists Jessica Schrufer and Chris Machin, called “The First Damn Show,” which is indeed Nub’s first gallery show. “It was something different,” Nub said. “It was a place to show my work other than at a motorcycle show.”
Nub, like any artist, loves to be surrounded by his work. Now the walls are bare until the show ends on Feb. 15. “Looks like the place got robbed,” Nub said looking around at the walls where there are a number of nails sticking out where artwork had hung.
Nub is a member of the East Coast Pinstripe Police, a group made up of talented pinstripers such as Zeke Lemanski, Howie Nisgor, Julian “Mr. J.” Braet, Mikey Fredrick and Artie Schilling. They recently got together and published a book called “Pinstripe Techniques” (Wolfgang Publications). It’s an instructional book showing pictures of each member of the Pinstripe Police showcasing their pinstriping techniques. You’ll see Nub pinstriping a guitar in Chapter 1, and in Chapter 2 he illustrates and paints a cartoon character. “This is the first book I have been in besides motorcycle magazines,” Nub said. “It was great being among such great pinstripers.”
Teaching pinstriping classes is another of Nub’s endeavours. He held a couple of workshops at his shop last year and traveled to Ireland to teach there. He’ll be returning to Ireland this year to do some more teaching. “I don’t consider teaching work,” Nub said. “It’s really fun.”
Nub is Nub, and he will never change, and he hasn’t for as long as I’ve known him. He is always dedicated to making the most creative illustrations with the airbrush and the wickedest pinstriping you will ever see. His website is currently under construction, but you can visit Nub on Facebook.
MONTGOMERY, N.Y. — Authorities say a roofer working at “American Chopper” co-star Paul Teutul (TUH’-tul) Jr.’s new motorcycle business fell through a hole and died.
Police in Orange County say the Middletown roofing company employee stepped backward into a hole that had been cut in the roof and fell 40 feet Tuesday morning. They say the 26-year-old man from Beacon, whose name hasn’t been released, died at the scene in Montgomery, 60 miles north of New York City.
Teutul is leasing space in the building to open his own motorcycle shop. He and his father, Paul Sr., had a falling out but plan to go head-to-head this fall when the cable TV series resumes.
Neither Paul Teutul Jr. nor other cast members were at the building when the accident happened.
